I grew up hating my hair. It had a mind of its own. Curly and wild. I always questioned God on why all of my friends had beautiful straight hair while I had this wild and untamed thick mess.
As I got older, I pretty much still hated it..that is up until about 10 years ago. If you will just listen, you will hear people with straight hair complaining that they want curly. My curly headed friends always complain that they want straight. It seems we are never happy. I can honestly say that I truly love my hair now. It is almost like I just needed to love on it a little bit an appreciate the full head of hair I was blessed with. In the Alabama humidity, it will act up, but I don’t blame it. I kinda get irritated myself.
Just a year or so ago, I was able to donate my hair to Wigs for Kids. It takes a lot of hair to make one wig. I hope that my thick hair made it to a child who appreciates it as much as I appreciate mine now. I know they do. Tell me this, what is something that you hated growing up but are now are so appreciative of?

Today, I used the shampoo and conditioner. I blew my hair dry. It looked amazing. I took a teeny tiny bit of the liquid gold and rubbed it in my palms. I rubbed it over my hair. NO FLAT IRON. NOTHING! I decided to take a picture to commemorate this great hair day with these great products. You see it here. I’m in love with these products (mentioned above).
