Fat Tuesday is coming to a close, thank the Lord. I feel like a blimp! Tomorrow, I will wipe the dust from the dreaded scales and take a “beginning weight” and log it in my planner. I’ll get right back into the keto lifestyle that makes me feel amazing!
Here’s my plan for the next 4 days (Wednesday – Saturday): a beef and butter fast to help jump me into ketosis. Sugar detox at it’s finest, here I come! I’ll be drinking lots of water- atleast 1/2 of my body weight in ounces.
🌅Breakfast: Bulletproof coffee – 2 cups
🍽Lunch: 1/2 c of browned and seasoned ground beef topped with 3 T of Kerrygold butter. Recipes below.
🥣Dinner: a repeat of lunch.
📝: You can have some bone broth with butter too, if needed.
If hunger rears it’s ugly head, you’re not getting enough fat. Eat more fat! Drink more water.
Come Sunday, it will be low carb, high fat and protein. My body will use my stored fat for energy. How cool is that? It’s about time this extra flab is used for something good- like energy to get my to-do list done!

Recipes:
- Fry up your ground beef until fully cooked.
- Drain your beef if you prefer, and add 3 teaspoons of butter.
- Mix in your seasonings with 1/4 cup of water.
- Divide your beef in half and reheat each bowl with 3 more teaspoons of butter.
