- 3 T. Butter
- 1 Small Cabbage, chopped
- 1/2 Onion, chopped
- 1 Pkg Smoked Sausage, sliced
- 1 (15 ounces) Can Diced Tomatoes, undrained (or diced fresh tomatoes)
- 1/2 Green Bell Pepper, Diced
- 4 tsp. Cajun Seasoning, ensure no sugar added
- 1/2 tsp. Salt
- 1/2 tsp. Black Pepper
In a large dutch oven, brown sausage rounds. Once done, remove from pan and set aside. Add butter to pan and melt. Add onion, peppers, and seasoning. Saute vegetables till nearly tender. Add cabbage and tomatoes. Cover and cook on low/medium heat till cabbage is tender. Add in sausage and ensure all is heated and has “come together”. Enjoy!
