This recipe is very quick to pull together and will please the taste buds of kids from 1 to 100.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. Lean Ground Beef
- 1 Small can of Beef Broth
- 2 T. Taco Seasoning- I make my own and you can find the easy recipe here
- 1/2 C. Salsa
- 5 Low Carb Tortillas
- 10 Hot Dogs
- 8 oz Shredded Cheese (fiesta or cheddar)
- Sour Cream, lettuce, tomatoes, jalapeno’s – optional
Preheat the oven to 350′. In a medium skillet, you will cook the ground beef, with the broth, seasoning, and salsa. Cook until the beef is done. This will be your “chili” mixture.
In a 9 x 11 sprayed/greased pan, place 1/2 of the “chili” in the bottom of the dish. Cut the tortillas into halves and roll each hot dog with a halve. Place the rolled hot dogs on top of the chili. One you have placed all 10 hot dogs in the pan, pour the remaining chili mixture on top. Top all with the cheese. Bake for 30 minutes. Serve up and use toppings if you like. Enjoy!
