Crafting Comfort: The Recipe
Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 to 3 lbs. Ground Beef
- Medium Onion, chopped
- Green Bell Pepper, chopped
- 1 Jalapeno, seeds removed and diced
- Assorted low-carb vegetables of your choice (zucchini, green beans, mushrooms, etc.)
- I used 1 can of Green Beans, drained
- Box of Keto-friendly broth (beef or bone broth)
- Cherry Tomato’s (about 20 or so)
- 1 T. Better Than Bullion (Beef flavor)
- 2 tsp. Dried Parsley
- 2 tsp. Dried Dill
- 2 tsp. Onion Flakes
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Garlic Powder
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp. Pepper
- 2 T. Butter
Instructions:
Brown the ground beef with the onion, bell pepper, and jalapeno. Drain. Add meat back to pan. Add the butter and bullion. On medium heat, stir to “melt” the bullion it into the ground beef- it’s thick. Add the seasonings. Gradually add the beef broth, stirring to incorporate the bullion and beef and seasonings. Add water to your “soup” according to your desire for “soupiness”. Add cherry tomatoes. Turn down and let your soup simmer for a while to incorporate the flavors. Add your green beans, and other veggies you prefer, and cook another 10 minutes or so on low or until your veggies are done. Enjoy!
