Being able to have a sweet treat when on a KETO lifestyle, is like winning the jackpot. Doubly good when it’s quick and easy to make!
How does it measure up? Keto- around 4 net carbs, but you need to always check your ingredients.
You’ll start with the basic recipe and then add the cinnamon roll goodness.
Chaffle Ingredients:
- 1 egg
- 1 T. Almond Flour Or Carbquick (my fav)
- 1/2 tsp. Baking Powder
- 1/2 C. Shredded Cheese (fat free or full fat, depending on your diet) – I prefer mozzarella cheese
- Dash of Salt
- 1 T. Xylitol
- 1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
Swirl Ingredients:
- 1 T. Butter, melted
- 1 tsp. Cinnamon
- 2 tsp. Swerve Brown Sugar
Glaze Ingredients:
- 1 T. Butter, melted
- 1 T. Cream Cheese, softened
- 1/4 tsp. Vanilla Flavoring
- 2 tsp. Xylitol
Heat waffle iron and spray with a non stick spray. Mix each set of ingredients in separate bowls- one for the Chaffle mixture, the swirl, and the glaze.
Pour 1/2 of your Chaffle mixture onto a greased hot griddle/mini dash. Drop small drops of the “swirl” mixture onto the Chaffle. Close the waffle iron lid and cook until slightly browned. Your Chaffle will slow down the streaming when close to being done. Remove Chaffle from waffle iron. Repeat to make the 2nd Chaffle. Top each Chaffle with the glazing. Let the cinnamon roll Chaffle cool completely before eating. They taste better once cooled.
