It wasn’t till I was in my 40’s that I learned the GOOD way to make green beans. STOP BOILING THEM. Drain off that water!
- Canned green beans, drained
- Butter
- Onion, sliced or quartered
- Byron’s Butt Rub seasoning to taste
- Salt & Pepper
- Sliced Almonds, optional
Heat a skillet to medium heat and add butter. Add onion and briefly saute. Add green beans. Lightly sprinkle on Byron’s Butt Rub seasoning to taste. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cover and cook on medium/low heat for 5-8 minutes, stirring a few times to incorporate flavors. Turn down heat to keep warm. Sprinkle in almonds if your family approves. Serve with your favorite protein and salad and ENJOY!
