After seeing all of the unnecessary carbs in store bought seasoning, I decided to make a healthier version of Taco Seasoning. It’s simple, can be made in larger batches for ease of use for many meals, and it’s zero carbs. Win-Win-Win.
Ingredients:
- 2 T. Chili Powder
- 1 T. Cumin
- 2 tsp. Paprika
- 2 tsp. Salt
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp. Onion Powder
- 1 tsp. Oregano
- 1 tsp. Black Pepper
Simply mix and use like any other taco seasoning. If adding to browned and drained ground beef, add a cup of water and mix well. Heat slowly to incorporate the seasoning into your cooked meat. ENJOY!
Tip: You could use this seasoning for a variety of meats and meals. Chicken, shrimp, fish, pork, fajita’s, etc.

- 1 1/2 C. Chili Powder
- 3/4 C. Cumin
- 1/2 C. Paprika
